Wow! Fifty years is a long time!
I lived in North Ogden all my life and all my kids went to Weber High, but we recently moved to a beautiful new home in Farr West and now, they tell me I have to be a Silver Wolf. No way! I’ll always be a Warrior.
I married the love of my life, Pam Ingebretsen from Bonneville and we have been married 42 years. She is beautiful and loving, and the best thing that ever happened to me. We have five adult children, a son, the four daughters. We have 13 grandchildren. All our kids live in the area, except for one daughter and her family, who live in the St. George area. We have a casita in their home, which has become our second home. Our kids all graduated from Weber State and have all become very successful, good people. Our family is a big part of our world.
After Weber High School, I graduated from Weber State, then went to BYU to get my Masters and then my Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I came back to teach at Weber State in the Child and Family Studies Department and was a professor for over 30 years. I took an early retirement, to focus on my Marriage and Family Therapy private practice and enjoy my family. I have had a wonderful career and have touched many lives and helped save many marriages. Most importantly, Pam and I have had a wonderful marriage and raised a great family.
I feel very blessed in life. I love my Heavenly Father and feels He loves me. I have a loving wife and a wonderful family. I have enjoyed my life’s work in teaching and therapy. I am in relatively good health and try to stay active. I still love the out-of-doors and have become an accomplished wildlife photographer. I am also pretty good at grandkid photos!
My personal mission statement is "To touch the lives of other people for their betterment, while personally growing and enjoying the journey." I try to do that every day. I look forward to "catching up" with my old friends at our Weber High 50th Reunion.
